Dealing With The Physical Manifestation Of Negative Thoughts
"Dear Em, how do you manage physical 'symptoms' that arise from negative thoughts. For example, I was struggling with some moves in a dance class last night and amongst my thoughts of failure, embarrassment, unworthiness of being in the class etc etc etc, I could feel myself close to tears, heart was racing, stomach felt ill, and so on. It becomes a physical overwhelm. It is so hard to try to change those first thoughts when your body has already taken those first thoughts and run with them.
PS I recently stumbled across your podcasts and honestly... where have you been all my life? I resonated so much with your latest ones that I actually decided to go right back to your first podcast and listen in order. They've been really helpful and insightful so far, so thank you."
